Nurse Next Door is on the lookout for experienced, self-led Personal Care Assistants / Support Workers to join the passionate care team for aged care and disability clients located in Melbourne CBD and Inner City Suburbs

Must have a positive can-do attitude, be reliable, confident & flexible with start and finish times

  • CAR & licence is mandatory & must be appropriate for transporting clients for outings
  • Must have an NDIS worker screening check OR willing to obtain one
  • Working with Children Check

Job Requirement

Responsibilities

  • Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
  • Deliver care in accordance with the client’s care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

  • Working one on one with a client, focusing on their individual needs and happiness
  • Facilitate caregiver and client introductions for all new clients
  • Flexible & available to travel around inner Melbourne suburbs as required by the business

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum Cert III in either  Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
  • Working With Children Check 
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
  • NDIS Workers Screener
